Meet Rose
Rose, our Husky-Great Pyrenees mix, is the heart of our farm’s security and companionship. She moved with us to Texas and quickly embraced the homestead lifestyle, trading suburban comforts for wide-open pastures. Her thick coat and striking eyes give her a majestic presence, but it’s her gentle nature and intelligence that make her truly special. She’s curious, playful, and always ready for an adventure, but her true purpose shines in how she protects those around her.
As a natural guardian, Rose takes her job seriously, watching over our free-range birds and livestock with quiet dedication. She spends much of her time stationed beneath her favorite trees, surveying her domain with calm confidence. When hawks or stray animals come too close, she springs into action, chasing them off before they become a problem. Her bark is a warning that she means business, but with those she trusts, she is nothing but affectionate. Despite her protective instincts, she has a soft side, especially when it comes to belly rubs and lounging at our feet after a long day.
